One of my favorite farmers market finds have been Asana Foods. They are a GMO free, gluten free, local company with a passion to make clean, supertasty superfoods. You can find them at San Diego farmers markets, health food stores like Lazy Acres Encinitas, Marbella Market in San Juan Capistrano or just order online! See list of other retail partners here.
They make my favorite granola ( I love Coconut Almond and Cardamom & Goji). I eat it with some almond milk, snack on it by itself, add as crunchy topping on an acai bowl, or on top of chia seed pudding. Pretty much I’m always indulging in their granola. Also, Asana makes incredible nut butters. My husband can’t get his hands out of the Cinnabuddah Almond Butter Jar…
I made these yummy no-bake granola bars so I could enjoy their granola in a different form. You can use any of their granolas – which are on sale right now- as well as any of their flavor almond butter! It’s so easy and so delicious (and nutritious!
- 2 cups Asana Granola (I used Cardamom & Goji Granola)
- 3/4 cup Asana Almond Buddah (I used Cardamom & Goji Almond Buddah)
- 6 tbsp. honey
Mix honey and almond butter together. Then, mix in granola. Pour into a lined 8×8 baking pan lined in parchment paper. Spray with non-stick spray (I used coconut oil non-stick spray). Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before enjoying.
