  1. Probiotics – One of the best ways to keep healthy starts in your gut! Keeping your gut healthy with probiotics is a way to keep your immunity up before traveling. Over 70% of the immune system is located in the intestines. Taking probiotic before bedtime a week or two weeks before traveling can greatly improve chances of getting sick. Better yet, incorporating Suja Probiotics drinks, into your daily routine can be tasty and efficient way of getting daily probiotics for immunity everyday.Processed with VSCO with c6 preset
  2. Vitamin B and E – Get your body ready to defend itself with loads of leafy green veggies. They are great sources of vitamin B and E that boost the immune system. The easiest way to get heaps in your diet is a green juice! If green juice is new to you, start with Green Delight or Mighty Dozen for a naturally sweeter taste. If you are a green juice connoisseur, try Trim Greens or Noon Greens (my favorite). Try having a cup of green juice a day, especially before your trip! I like to have a glass each morning on an empty stomach for my body to absorb immediately. You’ll see you skin glowing for added benefits!Processed with VSCO with c6 preset
  3. Turmeric – Turmeric a natural anti-fungal and anti-viral root. It also helps with inflammation of the body. Sickness tends to thrive in inflamed bodies. Turmeric is also loading with tons of antioxidants. You can find it juiced or in powder form. Try an Immunity Shot while on the go to add antioxidants to your day. The 2oz. size even makes them able to come on board plane with you!

I implemented each of these points a week before traveling. I felt better than ever before, on my trip, and after! It was easy to find places when traveling to get smoothies, juices, or by bring probiotics with me. Since understanding how probiotics, vitamins found in leafy greens, and antioxidants in turmeric can play in obtaining optimal health I have been implementing into my daily routine.

Wishing you good health, happiness, and a strong immunity system.
